Art Hostage has learnt the FBI led multi-agency Fugitive Squad/DOJ are currently negotiating the arrest of Whitey Bulger for the $2 million reward.
The discussions are at an advanced stage and if they prove fruitful then expect an Irish theme.
The continued pressure being applied to the INLA in relation to the Gardner art is ongoing but the breakthrough could come from an alternative Irish Republican source to settle a multi-million Euro debt owed to the govt.
